How do you service a vacuum pump?

STEP 1

The first step of servicing a vacuum pump involves disassembling it at the technician’s work bench under an exhaust hood. Gloves, eye protection and respiratory masks are used as part this process to ensure safety for technicians working with delicate parts that may be dirty or contain chemicals harmful if inhaled incorrectly while servant them inside your house! All components requiring cleaning have been prequalified by us before being sent out so you can rest assured knowing they will always look fresh no matter how long ago their last maintenance was completed.

STEP 2

When it's time to clean up, the parts are first blast-cleaned with a powerful bead blaster. The surface of all heavily contaminated areas will then receive an intensive jet cleaning followed by compressed air circulation before they're rinsed off in solvent and vacuum free environments.

STEP 3

Major parts are then inspected to make sure there is no scoring and that they meet factory specifications. All other components will be discarded, replaced with new ones for a completely finished product.

STEP 4

Finally, the technicians use brand-new replacement parts to reassemble your vacuum pump. These include gaskets and O-rings for extra protection against leaks or other malfunctions in this important system.

STEP 5

The pump is monitored for pressure and temperature. If everything goes according to plan, this will give us an idea about how long the blades last before they need replacing.

STEP 6

Once all the readings are correct the pump is taken to the spray booth to be painted.

STEP 7

At this stage, the vacuum pump goes through a final QA process. Protective caps are placed on both intake and exhaust ports to prevent anything from getting inside of it; after which we ship them out with an identifying plate showing their model number as well as serial/numbers date formatted in accordance with ISO standards (for example: ABC123456789012). This ensures that all work done is up-to-par for next time around.
