STEP 1 The first step of servicing a vacuum pump involves disassembling it at the technician’s work bench under an exhaust hood. Gloves, eye protection and respiratory masks are used as part this process to ensure safety for technicians working with delicate parts that may be dirty or contain chemicals harmful if inhaled incorrectly while servant them inside your house!
